If you want to copy all of the elements on your website, you can do so by using the function “Save Page As…”
We recommend to save your page before and after any significant alteration. That way you can just delete the copy and go back to your original page if you are not happy with your modifications or something has not worked out the way you wanted it to. This will save you a lot of time and you can avoid having to do all of the basic work again.
Follow the instructions below:
- Go onto the page you would like to create a copy of
- Click onto the arrow next to the “Save” button. Two options will be displayed: “Save Page” and “Save Page As…” (if you have recently made any changed without saving them, you will have to click “Save Page” first).
- A new window will pop up, asking you to name the page (you can always change the name of the page and decide whether or not it should be displayed in your menu).
- Click “OK” to end the process. The newly created page will now appear in the drop-down menu next to “Page”. That way you can access the page even if it’s not displayed in the websites main menu.
Note: This option will only work for websites, not blog posts!
